Notes: The Wilmette Park District wa organized in 1908 to create and maintain public parks. The organization was the suggestion of Mr. R. R. McCormick, then President of the Sanitary District, that the tract of land which would be created from earth extracted from the drainage canal under construction. Describes plans for the development of various parks.
