- This week's Our Climate Matters symposium on global warming will include the co-winners of this year's Nobel Peace Prize. This year that prize is sharec between former Vice President Al Gore and the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Speakers Gary Yohe, professor at Connecticut's Wesleyan University, and Raymond Pierrehumbert, professor geophysical science at the University of Chicago, also serve as members of the U.N. Panel. Anotherspeaker, Kent Taylor of Oak Park was trained by Gore to present his slide program on which the film, "An Inconvenient Truth" was based.
