- Recently issued notices of judgement of the United States Department of Agriculture announce the condemnation and destruction of adulterated and misbranded food and drug productes and fines imposed on the shippers. Fined was the Nectar Company of New York for adulterated "cognac," J. L. Kraft & Brothers of Kansas City, Mo., for adulted cheese; Consolidated Oil of Cleveland, Ohio, for misbranded spirits of turpentine; Christo Brandy of Washington, D.C., for misbranded butter; Dr. Sullivan's Sure Solvent patent medicine; West Baden Sprudel water; Hercules Medicinal Beer
