- Plans by hockey clubs in Wilmette and neighboring communities to build their own rink in Northbrook's Techny are moving forward with a astate aproval for financing. They hope to break ground for the $8 million rink next spring. The consortium signed a long-term lease for five acres owned by the Society of the Divine Word along Founder's Drive north of Willow Road in Northbrook
