Notes: Kindergarten orientation is scheduled from 6-7 p.m. March 12 in the library at Avoca West Elementary School, 235 Beech Drive, Glenview. Children entering kindergarten in the fall must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1.

The Avoca parents-teachers council will hold its ninth annual fun fair from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday. The fund-raising event will be held at Avoca West Elementary School, 235 Beech Drive, Glenview, and is open to all District 37 staff members, students and their families.
