- Evanston senior Darcel Retreage won a three-way tiebreaker competition Thursday night in the Country Three-Point Competition at the Class 4A Maine South Sectional tournament.
He beat out both Rebecca Piscitelli of Leyden and LaTerria Taylor of Von Steuben for the final qualifying spot.
Retreage will join Michelle Bilek of Loyola Academy, Katie Samuelson of New Trier and Karen Solari of Maine South in the state Class 4A competition scheduled for 5 p.m. today at Redbird Arena at Illinois State University.
