- National High School Model United Nations was held in New York March 12-15. North Shore students represented Iraq in simulations of various UN (United Nations) committees and related organizations.
North Shore participants included Taylor Appelbaum of Highland Park, Tommy Brown of Winnetka, Joni Dema of Chicago, Hayley Formolo of Winnetka, Michael Gendell of Glencoe, Luke Gensburg of Glencoe, Becca Newmark of Wilmette, Sara Nydick of Northbrook, Lauren Olswanger of Glencoe, Andrea Strauss of Wilmette, Christoph Tries of Evanston, Eric Van Wart of Glencoe, Beth Vrotny of Northbrook and Nick Young of Winnetka.
A knit-a-thon was held March 9 to benefit the non-profit organization Afghans for Afghans. Upper School students Katie Cherry, Hopie Hambleton and Chloe Stahl all of Winnetka organized the fund-raiser
The Clockenspiel opened at North Shore's Almquist Gallery on March 14. This community fund-raising art exhibit featured clocks created by families, faculty and friends of North Shore.
The Upper and Middle School Science Olympiads competed in the regional finals at the College of Lake County in Grayslake March 8.
