January 16 opening for Wilson Foundation

- January 16 will open the period for subscriptions to be received to establish the Woodrow Wilson Foundation. The goal is an endowment of one million dollars or more according to an announcement by Hon. James Hamilton Lewis of Chicago, state chairman for Illinois. The income from the endowment will be used to grant awards for service to democracy, public welfare, liberal thought of peace through justice. Recent appointments of state chairmen for the foundation include Hon. James W. Gerard of New York, John Farwell Moors of Boston, Hon. James H. Moyle of Salt Lake City, George H. Partridge of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Hon. William Woodburn of Reno, Nevada; A. G. Burr of Rugby, North Dakota; Hon. William E. Chilton of Charleston, West Virginia. Hamilton Holt is executive director.
