Notes: Local teen musicians helped raise money to fight cancer in a competition Friday at Wilmette's Warming House youth center. The event raised about $300 toward the organization's target of $1,000 destined for the New Trier Relay for Life event on June 13. Comments by Cynthia Ducette, Warming House director. The winning band also had a chance to be the main musical entertainement for the June event.
