Notes: An orientation session for parents of incoming kindergartners is scheduled from 6:30-7:30 p.m. today at the school.

•Earth Week will be celebrated at the school Monday through April 26. Throughout that period, the school is collecting old gym shoes for the Nike Reuse a Shoe program.

On Tuesday, organizers ask families to join them by the school playground and in the garden for an after-school celebration

Wednesday is bike to school day.

Students are asked to wear green on April 24.

April 25 is waste-free lunch day with a water bottle challenge.

A river cleanup is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. April 26 at the Forest Preserve on Forestway and Tower.
