Notes: Jean A. Smith, 83, of Wilmette died April 23 at her home.

Mrs. Smith was born Aug. 9, 1924, in Chicago to J. Allen and Ora Golding Smith.

Survivors include her nephews and nieces, Daryl Heitmann Riley, Scott Heitmann, Alane Davis, Linda Pickett, Diane McCullough, Jim Brown and Tom Brown; her cousins, Ann Golding Trovillion and William F. Golding; and many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Brown and Peggy Heitman; and one cousin, Joan Golding Mohr.
