- The kindergarten enrichment class has been studying artists and their works.
• All of the children have been studying caterpillars that arrived in the mail. Any day now it will be time to move them into butterfly pavilions to await the metamorphosis into Painted Lady butterflies.
• Many of the children have been working on phonics with the sandpaper letters and matching objects. Using the moveable alphabet, they are building words.
• Subscription parties from the winter benefit are happening. A mother-daughter luncheon is planned as well as a bowling party at Wilmette Bowl.
• A few openings remain in the five-day afternoon class for 2008-09. - Date of Publication
