Residents of the southeast portion of WIlmette worried, needlessly, last week when a rumor gained ciculation that an objectional sanitarium was to be located in their neighborhood. Apparently these villagers were not well informed on the village ordinances and their limitations. They evidently did not know that to establish any institution such as a hospital, private or otherwise, it is necessary to get the property frontage consent in addition to procuring the sanction of the village trustees. The news story in this paper last week explained that phase of the situation and it is hoped that the next time any such scare emanates from a talkative realty agent, the citizens will appeal to a village official and this save themselves unnecessary worry.
