Notes: Theater-goers sold out the house for the July 10 opening of Ragtime at the Wilmette Theatre. The play, originally scheduled for the 3,000 seat outdoor stage area at Gillson Park, had been cancelled by the Wilmette Park District because of concerns over racially charged language.
