Dr. and Mrs. Amos W. Patten, 2017 Sherman avenue, returned Sunday from Williams Bay, Wisconsin.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Roberts, 2203 Central street, returned Saturday from a trip to southern Illinois.
Prof. and Mrs. James Lardner, 810 Milburn street, returned last week from Chippewa Lake, Michigan.
Dr. and Mrs. Charles M. Stuart, [unclear] Foster street, have returned from Northport [?] point, Michigan, wher ethey have been spending the summer.
Mrs. John R. Lindgren and family, 1144 Asbury avenue, returned Thursday from Annisquam, Mass., Where they have been spending the summer.
Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Paddock and Miss Helen Paddock, 1830 Sheridan road, returned Friday from a three weeks' trip to Block Island, Washington, D.C.
Mrs. William A. Illsley and daughter [sic], the Misses Constance and Elizabeth, 908 Seward avenue, returned last week from Bay Head, N.J., where they have spent six weeks.
Mr. Frank Morris, a former resident of this city, is visiting his sister, Mrs. John S. Burchmore, 2407 Harrison street.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Spearman, 1612 Wesley avenue, returned yesterday from Minocqua, Wisconsin, where they spent the summer.
Miss Grace Merrick and Thompson Merrick, 1322 Hinman avenue, have returned from Green Lake, Wisconsin, where they have been for a month.
Mrs. A. L. Cayzer and Mrs. Charles Graves of this city will sail on the 19th on the steamship "Nordham" from Rotterdam. They are now in Amsterdam.
Dr. Couden Laughlin, head of the German department at the Evanston academy, has returned from his summer vacation, which he spent on Vashon Island, Washington.
Mr. Newell C. Knight, Jr., 1326 Asbury avenue, returned Sunday from Les Cheneaux, where he spent the summer, and will leave next week for Hotchkiss Preparatory school.
Miss Jeanne Livingston and two nieces, Carol and Margaret Livingston, returned Friday to their home in Rochester, N.Y., after spending the summer as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Houston, 2611 Dewey avenue.
Mr. A. Fletcher Smith, 2500 Hartzell street, left Thursday evening to join Mrs. Smith at Plum Lake, Wisconsin. Dr. and Mrs. S. Victor Balderston and and Mrs. Smith are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. Lee Lewis at their summer home.
