- Sunset Ridge District 29 in Winnetka and New Trier are a likely stop for planned demonstrations at North Shore Schocols next week acccording to officials. State Sen. Rev. James Meeks, D-15, intends to bring over 1,000 school chilren to New Trier Township schools on Sept. 2. The event is an effort to draw attention to what Meeks considers to be unequal financial standards among state schools.
