Baptist
Sunday services held in the Woman's Club building, corner of Greenleaf avenue and Tenth street. Rev. B. Frank Taber, pastor. Residence, 1018 Eleventh street. Bible school at 9:45 a.m. Public worship at 11 a.m. Subject, "The Victorious Power of Faith." B.Y.P.U. [Baptist Young People's Union] meeting at 6:15 p.m. Miss Pauline Senn, a native Chinese, will speak of her work among the Chinese of Chicago. Evening service at 7:30 p.m., when the pastor will give the first of two illustrated sermons on "The Divinie Dreamer and His Dream." Sunday evening the subject will be "Live and Times of John Bunyan--the Divine Dreamer." Beautiful stereopticon views will illustrate the theme. Monday afternoon, Oct. 12, at 2 o'clock, the regular meeting of the Woman's Mission society will be held with Mrs. T. A. Copeland, 807 Ashland avenue. Program in charge of Mrs. B. Frank Taber. Mrs. L. K. Gillson will read a paper on "Organization and Methods of the Mormon Church." Mrs. Frank R. Eager will sing. Prayer meeting Wednesday evening, Oct. 14, will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Finlay, 419 Ninth street.

Congregational Church
Sunday morning at 9:45 the Sunday school will welcome its new superintendent, Mr. J. G. Wray; Mr. Coburn will continue in service as superintendent of class instruction. At eleven o'clock the sermon will be on the theme, "The True Church." Vester theme at five o'clock, "Joy in Sorrow." The Y.P.S.C.E. at 6:15 will have a temperance meeting.

Anti-Saloon Rally
The Anti-Saloon league will hold a Prohibition rally in the Wilmette Congregational church Monday evening Oct. 12, at eight o'clock. All citizens of Wilmette are invited to come and hear of the great progress and still greater plans of the Anti-Saloon forces.

Wilmette Methodist Church
Lake and Wilmette avenues. T. K. Gale, minister, 1024 Lake avenue. Telephone 654. "A church with a message and a welcome." Conference Sunday. 9:30 a.m. Bible school. Orchestra. Classes for all. 10:45 a.m. sermon by the Rev. B. A. Trew. Come and hear this brilliant Englishman. 3:30 p.m. junior church. 5 p.m. sermon by the Rev. G. H. Welch, who came to the Rock River conference form the Catholic Church. 6:15 Epworth league. All young people welcome. 7:45 p.m. Swedish service. 8 p.m. Rev. Mech will preach at Kenilworth mission. Strangers especially invited.
