John H. Wigmore to Head Harvard Club

The Harvard Club of Chicago held its annual election in the University Club in Chicago Tuesday. Samuel S. Greeley of Winnetka, of the class of 1844, the oldest graduate living in the weest, was a guest of honor and was elected honorary president of the Chicago Club. Bishop Lawrence, head of the Episcopal church in Massachusetts, was present and gave a talk to the graduates on present conditions and happenings on the Harvard campus. One hundred alumni of Chicago and vicinity attended the meeting. Leverett Thompson, '93, presided. The officers for 1914-1915 were elected as follows: John H. Wigmore, '83, president; Russell Tyson, '90, Walter R. Kirk, '01, and Louis C. Brosseau, '07, Pierce Anderson, '92, and ARthur Dyrenforth, '96, directors; Harold V. Amberg, '08, secretary and treasurer; Eames MacVeagh, '95, member of the scholarship committee, and Joseph L. Valentine, '98, chorister. Dr. Wigmore, the newly elected executive, is the dean of the Northwestern University Law School. He lives at 207 Lake street, Evanston.
