- International Walk to School Day is Wednesday.
•The next gift card order will be made Oct. 15, and the new order form is on the McKenzie Web site
•Fall Frenzy is scheduled for Oct. 17. More information is available from Cara Gaziano.
•The District 39 Educational Foundation's Sam Mikaelian Fine Arts Fund's community performance by The Second City will take place at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18 in the Wilmette Junior High School auditorium.
•McKenzie families are encouraged to participate in Dominick's E-Scrips Program. From now until Monday, send in the bottom portion of a Dominick's receipt marked "10% Back-To-Schools" to the McKenzie PTA for school bonus dollars. More information is available from Tip Walker.
•As in previous years, the PTA is collecting Box Tops for Education to help the children at Carman Buckner Elementary School. More information is available from Maria Baird.
