• Fall Frenzy is Oct. 17. Volunteers are needed Contact Cara Gaziano.
• The D39 Educational Foundation's Sam Mikaelian Fine Arts Fund's community performance by The Second City will take place at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18 in the Wilmette Junior High School auditorium.
• As in previous years, the PTA is collecting Box Tops for Education to help the children at Carman Buckner Elementary School. Contact Maria Baird.
• An online survey will be sent to parents to solicit suggestions for a school gift from the PTA. For those who don't receive the link, e-mail ideas to Kimbra Burnside. Please submit proposals by Oct. 31.
