Already leading 10-0, Rambler quarterback Lucas Ruske completed a 28-yard pass to Jack Begley with less than four minutes left in the first half leading to a touchdown run by Begley.

Loyola won over previously undefeated St. Rita 24-0 in a Chicago Catholic League Blue Division showdown at Hoerster Field.

Loyola improved to 5-1 on the season and secured an IHSA state playoff berth.
