Paul Brown, Well Known Lawyer, Dead

Paul Brown, a prominent Chicago attorney, and for many years a resident of Glencoe, died at St. Anthony's hospital, Saturday morning.
Mr. Brown was born in McHenry County, Illinois, December 1, 1886 [unclear], and was the son of Dr. Henry T. and Almira M. Brown. He studied law in the office of the law firm of Hoyne, Horton & Hoyne in Chicago and married Miss Grace A. Owen in [illegible]. They lived in Glencoe until Mrs. Brown died in 1911. Mr. Brown married Mrs. Jennette G. Campbell, July 3, 1913.
Mr. Brown was admitted to the bar in 1986 [unclear] and a few months later was appointed a member in Chancery of the Circuit court of Cook County. He resigned that position in [illegible]. He was a direct descendent of Roger Williams and was a member of the Society of Colonial Ways, the Illinois Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, the Masonic order and of numerous clubs, among them being the Union League, the Skokie Country, the Hamilton and the Indianapolis clubs.
The services were held at the residence of Edmund B. Brigham, [unclear] Sheridan road, Monday afternoon. He was buried at Rosehill.- Featured Link
