Kiwanis aims to beat the streets

The Kiwanis Club of Evanston's annual Beat the Streets event was held Sept. 19 at the Glenview Park District Golf Course. The outing raised over $10,000. Beat the Streets is a national organization with a chapter in Evanston. The event works with children from age 6 through eighth grade combining wrestling with adult coaching to help children acquire positive qualities for growth.
