Mike Schmidt of Wilmette and Jack Wambach of Evanston helped Middlebury College men's cross country team take 6th place at the recent NESCAC championships

Karate
Mara Dubnow of Glencoe and Emily Schaffer of Highland Park earned three medals competing for the AAU National team Oct. 25-27 at the World Karate Confederation Junior World Championships in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. They study with sensei Marla Cohen
