- Charles Brown, a former long-time Wilmette resident, died July 3 in Marion, Ill. Mr. Brown, 81, was born in Scotland. He is survived by two daughters, Nadine Brown and Annabelle Claussen; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Services were conducted by the Rev. Joseph E. Mazza of St. Augustine's Episcopal Church of Wilmette.
