- George R. Martin of 923 Michigan Av. in Evanston, died Aug. 23 in a Jeep accident on a rural mountain road near Salida, Colo. Mr. Martin, 69, was born in Wilmette in the home at 11th and Elmwood. He is survived by two sons, George L. of Wilmette and Frederick B. of Chicago; a daughter, Susan T. of Evanston; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mart [sic] Martin Engel of Wilmette.
