- Thanksgiving at Rose Hall meant art projects, baking and cooking. Toddlers used their hand prints to make turkey pictures and added a little poem. With the help of parent volunteers, one class made cranberry bread to take home to their families. Another class read the book "Stone Soup" and decided to make a big pot to share. Each child brought in one ingredient to add into the pot. After stirring and simmering, they each had a small bowl at school and a jar to take home to share with their families.
•All of the classes are practicing their songs for the annual parent board-sponsored holiday sing-along Wednesday.
•Each class will also create artistic masterpieces which parents will use to create a festive decor for the evening. Special holiday treats will be provided by the parent board members.
•Rose Hall children and families have begun to collect new pajamas for a nationwide program, "The Pajama Program," that works to provide warm pajamas for children in shelters, orphanages and hospitals around the world. The Lunch Bunch children will decorate large boxes to hold all the donations. The drive will end the evening of the holiday sing-along.
