Notes: Sr. Barbara Becker, R.S.H.M., Ph.D, 76, a member of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary for 55 years, died at Marymount Convent, Tarrytown, New York, Saturday November 29. She is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Frank, Fr. Robert Becker, O. Praem, and Marilyn Dempsey. She is survived by a sister, Joan Becker McCain of Wilmette; 8 nieces and nephews, Dan (Laura), Mary, and John (Meghann) McCain and Michael, Peter and Rick Dempsey and Susan Roullard and Meg Dempsey; and grand-aunt of 11.
