Notes: A lawsuit was filed Monday in Cook County Circuit Court in response to a 4-3 vote Nov. 11 to deny a special use permit for 1323 Central Avenue, a project proposed by developer Mike Murdock. The laawsuit alleges that the board's vote deprives the developer of an economically viable use of the property. The developer proposed a six-unit building to house older adults near the Wilmette Public Library.
