- A new concrete sidewalk adjoining the Central hotel building was completed last week. Work was begun because of a complaint about safety from Postmaster Lea J. Orr. Village Attorney William M. James advised the Central hotel owner, Gus Mavros of Evanston, about the complaint, and work was started within a few weeks.
