The North Shore Harmonizers, an independent women's barbershop chorus, holds weekly chorus rehearsals at 7 p.m. Thursdays at St. Augustine Church, 1140 Wilmette Ave., Wilmette. The group is open to any level of experience. Visit www.northshoreharmonizers.org.

St. John's Lutheran Church hosts a Mommy and Me program 10-11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1235 Wilmette Ave., Wilmette. The program for ages 12-30 months and their parent or caregiver.

The Chai Group of Hadassah North Shore Chapter invites knitters and those who prefer to crochet to join their group the last Wednesday of the month with their ongoing project of knitting for the Linus Project. Call the North Shore office, e-mail northshore@Hadassah.org.
Community The Connecting Kids Preschool Program at Romona School will hold half-day sessions for three, four and five-year-old to prepare them for District 39 kindergarten classes. The Third Annual Baha'i Choral Festival will take place from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. May 24 at the Baha'i Temple, 100 Linden Ave. in Wilmette. Two hundred singers will be featured as well as workshops and performances. The event is free and open to the public.
