- Developer Mitchell Miller did not win approval from the village board at Tuesday night's meeting to build a drugstore and office building on Green Bay Road in downtown Wilmette. In 2007 Miller and his development firm, Wilmette Village Center LLC won approval to build a condominium building with first-floor retail on the lot formerly occupied by a Ford dealership. The sinking real estate market made the developer seek another use for the property.
