- Lea J. Orr, former Wilmette village clerk and Wilmette postmaster, died June 20. He was 83. In addition to his wife, Mabel, he is survived by two daughters, Leanna Edinger of Kimberling City, Mo., and Merry Jane Randall of Williamsville, N.Y., eight-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
