- Lester C. Rogers, 78, former Winnetka Village president died Feb. 9 in Palm Desert, Cal. Mr. Rogers is survived by his widow, Genevieve; three daughters, Mrs. Nancy R. Sale of Scottsdale, Ariz., Mrs. [sic] Hardwood Orbison of Appelton, Wis., and Mrs. H. Wade Stinson of Warrenton, Va.; a sister, Margaret G. Rogers of Daytona Beach, Fla.; three brother, Dr. Carl R. of La Jolla, Cal., Dr. Walter C. of Tucson, Ariz.; and John W. of Glen Ellyn; and 13 grandchildren.
