Notes: Judge O.N. Carter, of the Illinois Supreme Court, put the courts, law and justice into historical perspective for a current events class at the Evanston Congregational church on Sunday. He pointed out that law, justice and courts aren't perfect. He discussed Plato's views and the views of jurist Lord Erskine on law. He also compared the numbers of lawyers in different countries and covered criticisms of law.
