Mr. Harry D. Faxon is in New York City on business. Messrs. Jacob and W. E. Brand have left for a business trip to Texas. Mrs. Herbert P. Beers is home from an extended stay in Philadelphia. Mrs. Daniel Cobb has as her guest this week Miss Magot Street of Chicago. Mrs. James Warren left Monday for a visit of several weeks in Kalamazoo, Mich. Leonard Wolcott has returned east to resume his studies at Williams college. Mrs. J. A. Spring is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Segwick of Sheridan road. Mrs. P. C. Wolcott left this week for Magnolia Springs, Ala. She will be gone several weeks. Miss Margaret Bunnell, who attends Kemper-hall at Kenosha, Wis., visited with her parents the latter part of last week. Principal S. A. Hudson of the Highwood grammar school is at the Augustana hospital in Chicago suffering with typhoid fever. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Thompson now are occupying their home on Linden avenue and Lincoln street, which was damaged by fire shortly before Chirstmas.
