- The Illinois League of Women Voters is attempting a "citizen's initiative" regarding changes in the way the state's legislative districts are drawn. The effort to put a proposal on the Nov. 2 ballot requires 288,000 signatures of registered voters by May 3 seems unlikely to succeed.
