- Walter D. Moody, managing director of the Chicago plan commission, spoke Monday at the monthly meeting of the St. Mark's Men's Club. The talk illustrated with langern slides showed what had beendone by the Chicago plan commission and what it expects to do. Daniel H. Burnham was behind the plan, and his death was a setback only overcome by the excellent plans he had already completed. Preceding the meeting Mayor Paden gave a talk on the need of a filtration plant in Evanston. A special election on the matter is called for December 16.
