- Sunday was the beginning of a purity crusade in Waukegan organized by the Illinois Vigilance Association. Clergy of the nine churches in the city and social workers pleaded for a system of education concerning sex hygiene and subjects dealing with social purity in the public schools. Informal meetings were under the charge of Mr. E. M. Mohr of Chicago, superintendent of the purity department of the International Sunday School Associatio.
