Thomas Jefferson Miller, deseased, an ex-Confederate non-commissioned naval officer, member of the Manhattan Club of New York supposedly directed Chaloner's subconscious state to write a message covering sixteen typewritten pages. Miller allegedly commented on the voracity of the New Testament, that satan resembled Napolean and that life in Hell was satisfactory.
