- The sanitary food committee of the Evanston Woman's club held their second annual meeting at the home of Mrs. W. M. Turner, 1215 Elmwood avenue on Tuesday July 23. The committee agreed that, though there had been no formal response to their petition regarding the care of fruits, vegetables, bakery goods and other foods from the Commercial association, conditions have improved.
