Trevian Youth Football program is forming a feeder team of 8th-grade boys from surrounding communities to compete in the Chicagoland AYF League this fall in the All-American Division.
Rowing
Three rowers from New Trier High School have been selected to represent the United States at the 2010 Junior World Rowing Championships in Racice of the Czech Republic August 5-8. They are Connor Jones, Patrick O'Hara and Hemingway Benton.
Softball
The Illinois Chill defeated the ORland Park Sparks 3-1 to win the 40-team American Softball Association CHicago Metro 18U A qualifying tournament at Centennial Park in Lemont. Hockey
Erin Callahan, of Kenilworth, is one of 16 Yale University athletes named to the East Coast Athletic Conference ALl-Academic hockey team.
Tennis
Ross Anstaett of Winnetka at Dickinson COllege has been selected to the 2010 All-Centennial Conference Team.
Baseball
The Kenilworth-Winnetka Baseball Association Bulldogs 12A travel team participated in the Cooperstown Dreams Park baseball tournament. Players mentioned include Ryan Acri, Jake Blesi, Alex Gerbel, Michael Gallo, Martin Duffy, Will Hague, Andrew Huber, Justin Koress, Liam O'Neill and Drake Zimmerman.
