- The Lake Shore Neighborhood club has been formed and elected officers for the year. The club is the outcome of a suggestion by Mr. S. C. Stewart at the home of Prof. U. S. Grant on Orrington avenue. The organization was planned by a committee composed of Prof. U. S. Grant, F. H. McCulloch, Sherman C. Kingsley, A. M. Nelson and John A. Hillesheim. Officers elected for the year were Wilbur D. Nesbit, president; U. S. Grant, vice-president; Lynn A. Williams, secretary; Joseph Pearson, treasurer. Also elected to the board were J. G. S. Orchard, J. F. Oates, F. H. McCulloch, A. M. Nelson and E. W. Childs. By-Laws were adopted and printed here. A full membership list follows: Jas. W. Adams, L. J. Aiken, Dr. Wm. G. Alexander, P. T.
