- Women delegates to the National Progressive convention spoke at the suffrage meeting held Monday at the McCulloch home, 2236 Orrington Avenue. Speakers included Mrs. Grace Fitch Johnson of Boston, Mrs. Frank Elliott, Mrs. Frances Parks, one of the national officers of the W. C. T. U., and Mrs. Ella S. Stewart, former president of the Illinois State Suffrage association. 16 April is the day set by local and state suffrage workers to get signatures to their petition for placement of woman suffrage on the ballot in November's election. Mrs. Orrin Carter, 619 University place can assist with petitions.
