- Elections were held at the Democratic club of Evanston in Woodmen Hall on Davis street. The following are the officers chosen: James Turnock, president; Russel Whitman, vice-president; Frank H. McCulloch, secretary, and Henry G. Miller, treasurer. Noted speaker was William J. Stapletan, candidate for the United States senate. Also Judge Martin M. Gridley made a few remarks. Rivers McNeill was present and spoke about Woodrow Wilson's nomination.
