Caroline Newell took third place at the championship Saturday at the St. Viator Invitational tournament at Deerfield Golf Course. Others mentioned were Isabelle Kane, Eileen Loftus and Nina Puch. Loyola Academy took second place in the tournament.
Boys Golf
Michael Hultquist led Loyola to a third-place finish at the Providence Invitational on Saturday. Others mentioned include Matt Murphy, Paul Cichon, Tom Kennedy. Loyola defeated Brother Rice on Sept. 9. Players mentioned include Jack Haberkorn, Ryan Newell, John Beck. Loyola will compete Saturday at the Wheeling Invitational.
