First in a series of monthly columns by the staff of the Wilmette Historical Museum on local history news. Description of the first village wide plan devised by the Wilmette Plan Commission. Through December, the exhibit, "Following in Burnham's Footsteps: Plan of Wilmette 1922," is on display at the Wilmette Historical Museum, 609 Ridge Road.
