Notes: Cynthia Ellen (Newcomb) Cory, of Lake in the Hills, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004. She was born Sept. 12, 1955, in Suffern, N.Y., to Eleanor and Walter Newcomb. She married Brian Cory on Aug. 8, 1981. Survivors include, four children, Mairead, Slaine, Aoibheann and Aonghus; her mother; three brothers, Warren (Laurie) Newcomb of South Amboy, N.Y., Randy (Jona) Newcomb of Oceanside, Calif., and Buth (Diane) Newcomb of Lake in the Hills. She was preceded in death by her father. The funeral will be held Wednesday, Dec. 22, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, on McHenry Avenue.
