- Eugene Victor Wood, 76, of Crystal Lake, died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, at his home in the presence of his family.
He was born Dec. 3, 1928, in Chicago, to John Weldon and Loretta Rita (Ryan) Wood. On Aug. 6, 1960, he married Carole Repke in Marseilles. Survivors include his wife, Carole Wood of Crystal Lake; three children, John Wood of Concord, Calif., Thomas (Michelle) Nightoak-Wood of Marshall, Wis., and Karl (Edyta) Wood of Bydgoszcz, Poland. The service will be private. Cremation rites have been accorded.
