- Born Nov. 7, 1922, in Glen Ellyn, the daughter of Edward and Ella (nee Kerndl) Steinke, she passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at Rosewood Care Center in Elgin. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard who passed away Sept. 12, 2001. Burial will be in Wauconda Cemetery. She was the mother of Lawrence (Doris) LeStarge of Algonquin.
